Ravenswood: actors of an underrated spin-off

Interestingly, the name of the series can be translated from English as "Crow's Tree" or "Crow's Village" (which is much more euphonious). To date, only the first season is completely removed, which to some extent continues the tradition of such a popular show as "The Vampire Diaries". Of course, attempts to make offshoots from the main storyline were before, but the most successful were the "Diaries".

The central character of the whole story, Caleb, who practically threatens anyone who does not listen to the desires and rights of his friends, clearly deserves respect. Of course, describing the series, the author is guided only by what is happening on the screen, and therefore there is no comparison with the original ("Lovely deceivers") and can not be.

In the series "Ravenswood" the actors were selected not at the request of the fans. This was done with a multi-parted story about a single family of Michaels from the "Diaries".

What is the achievement of the series?

Initially, what will attract the fan of the original series - this is a memorable character, which was listed among the main and at the same time additional. In "Ravenswood" they took not quite suitable characters, which were not described in detail in The Deceivers, but six of them have already appeared. Hence the small rating, and the closure of the second season.

Perhaps, if at least one of the fraudsters entered the Ravenswood, the spin would have been in a much more advantageous position. But, as they say, the creators are more visible. The series is worthy of viewing - this is certainly a noteworthy project.
