The first tea-hybrid variety appeared in 1867, as a result of accidental crossing, and was given the romantic name La France. Various types of roses of the Hybrid group have now been obtained as a result of crossing with repair roses, and also by crossing the representatives of the variety with each other. The vast majority of tea-hybrid varieties of roses is spreading or erect shrubs with a height of 50-60 cm. The leaves of plants are usually large enough, leathery, dense and shiny. Flowers have a diameter of 10 to 14 cm and there are a variety of colors, a little less bright than the Floribunda variety of roses. Tea-hybrid roses bloom from June to October-November. Some plants are intended for growing in indoor conditions, but most varieties need open ground. Especially attentive to yourself requires a tea-hybrid rose. Planting and care should be carried out professionally and competently, as this plant is rather capricious. Plant roses in the right place - sunny and protected from drafts, and the soil for them requires a loose, slightly acidic, and most importantly, fertile. The most suitable months for planting plants are May, June, September and October (it is advisable to choose a cloudy day).

It is also necessary to periodically cosmetic pruning of rose bushes, that is, to remove faded flowers, broken and sick shoots. After August 1, the fattening shoots are removed. This is done to ensure maturation and lignification of the lower parts of shoots before the onset of cold weather. Top dressing of tea-hybrid varieties is held every two weeks between May and July. At the same time, complex mineral and organic fertilizers necessarily alternate. From the beginning of August, they stop making nitrogenous and start feeding flowers with potash and phosphorus fertilizers to activate the ripening of young shoots.

Hybrid tea roses should be covered at the onset of severe cold, usually in November. Do not cover the bushes before, since the shoots may not have time to ripen and their wood will be too soft. Do not worry - autumn frosts will not damage roses, but will increase their endurance. Before the shelter, remove all young shoots that do not have time to grow lignified, cut off the leaves (leave 1 cm long stems). Then bind the stems in a bundle and treat them with iron sulfate (3% solution). After that, the bush is covered with dry ground by 15-20 cm and covered with spruce lapnik or special non-woven material. For the middle zone of Russia you can buy enough frost-resistant park roses. The varieties are the most resistant and well surviving the winter - Grand Amore, Parole, Memori, Gloria Day, Nostalgie, Eliza, Burgund 81, Beverly, Marvel and others.
