Putin's residences: what do we know about them?

Simple citizens have always been curious as to how the might of this world live. And if the well-being of the billionaire who created his own empire only causes admiration and motivates to self-realization, then the luxury to which the first persons of the state, who are, in fact, ordinary officials of high rank, are used, sometimes causes a lot of questions. In particular, many Russians are interested in Putin's residences. How many of them actually exist? Let's try to figure it out together.

Official Residences of Putin

If you believe the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, the former Russian Prime Minister has four. The most important of them, of course, is the Moscow Kremlin. It is followed by Gorki-9. In this suburban residence of Putin, which is only 15 km from the capital, now lives Dmitry Medvedev with his family. By the way, the size of this complex is 80 hectares. As the third residence of Putin it is considered to be a small house in Valdai. Well, the fourth place is occupied by Bocharov Stream, which is located in Sochi. Compared with the heads of Germany and the United States, who have only two places to work and rest, this, it seems, is not so much. But is this information true? If you count only the official residences of Putin, then yes. The question arises: "And how many of the palaces and dachas are at the disposal of the former Russian prime minister?". In the opinion of Boris Nemtsov and Leonid Martynyuk, who wrote a sensational report on "the life of a slave on galleys," their total number came close to two dozen. And this despite the fact that the officially declared income of the prime minister slightly exceeds one hundred thousand dollars. And the most interesting is that 9 out of 20 current palaces appeared just during the reign of the GDP.

Modest monasteries of the Russian elite

In 2010, in due time (?), The departing businessman S. Kolesnikov wrote to D. Medvedev an open letter in which he said that a luxurious residence was being built on the Black Sea coast specifically for the personal needs of the Russian prime minister. According to him, the new luxury residence of Putin in Gelendzhik at its value is estimated at not less than a billion dollars. What do you think, what could be built on such funds? They say, in with. Praskoveevka, which is located not far from Gelendzhik, for no apparent reason a whole luxurious city appeared. It includes a huge main building with a palace gate, made in refined Italian style, a helipad that can accommodate three helicopters, a health complex, elevators to the beach, a "tea house" and much more. If you believe S. Kolesnikov, and he was very close to the environment of the current president, V. Putin personally supervised the construction process ... Bocharov Ruchei is no less remarkable.

This is the name of Sochi's residence of Putin. This two-storey villa is designed in the spirit of Stalinist classicism. There are two swimming pools (with sea and fresh water), a helipad, a wharf for the yacht and a gym. When you learn about such facts, one does not even believe that such residences are not enjoyed by some oil tycoon or Arab sheik, but the country's first person, whose twenty million inhabitants barely make ends meet ...
