Puppeteer - grass from drunkenness
A poisonous plant, named after the Flemish botanist - Lobel's chieftain - is simply called the puppeteer-grass. This perennial plant, whose stem reaches a height of half a meter, has yellowish-green inflorescences-panicles about 50 cm long.
Medicine
The puppeteer is a herb, the root of which was used in ancient times in folk medicine for the treatment of neurological diseases, rheumatism. In addition, infusions from this herb are used to treat pneumonia, as an antipyretic, as well as for the treatment of eczema and even typhus.
The puppeteer-grass, the photos of which you see in the article, is very poisonous. In modern medicine, it is prohibited for use as a component in various active food additives. The root of the puppeteer contains about six different alkaloids affecting the gastrointestinal tract and the cardiovascular system and capable of suppressing the work of the central nervous system. The puppeteer-grass is so poisonous that several grams of fresh plant roots are capable of killing an adult horse. Particularly high is the content of poison in the root in the autumn and spring period, for which the collection of this medicinal product is necessary. The greens are poisonous in the initial period of growth - in early spring, when the leaves have not yet turned around. The collected leaves and roots are dried in a well-digested room.
Drinking treatment
Recipe
The recipe for preparing the broth is very simple: a quarter cup of boiling water is taken for a teaspoon of chopped roots of the puppeteer (this is slightly less than 10 grams). The broth is infused for an hour, and then filtered. Keep the broth in the refrigerator, in a place inaccessible to anyone except you. In small doses (no more than 3-5 drops per meal), it is mixed into food. In total, the norm of broth per day should not exceed 10 drops. This is a very strict dose, as exceeding it can lead to irreversible consequences.
