Professional deformation of the individual in the staff

At present, such an interesting sphere of human activity as psychology has moved far ahead, which is connected with the considerable demand for psychological support of many people in the modern world. The rapid rhythm of the life of the modern world has brought not only positive moments, but also negative ones, which have emerged in people's need to turn to psychologists for the removal of mental stress. In addition, professional activity also imposes a fairly serious imprint on a person, as the daily implementation of the same actions and responsibilities causes certain changes in the person.

Professional deformation is a gradual change in some personality traits, including traits of character, behavior and communication with people, value orientations and interests that are part of the habit and become part of the person himself. In some cases, this can manifest itself very clearly, in others, for a long time, changes can occur slowly and imperceptibly. In any case, a person becomes different, because any sphere of activity has its own patterns and behavior patterns that affect the person and impose their own imprint on him.

It should be noted that professional deformation of a person can be both positive and negative, which largely depends on the inner basis of the person and on his attitude to himself. The beneficial effect of professional activity is manifested in raising the qualification level of a specialist, increasing the amount of knowledge in his field, the ability to make informed and informed decisions, and also to find a way out of difficult situations. Such a person joins the collective, becomes more sociable, makes close contacts with his employees, conscientiously treats his work and seeks to improve labor productivity, making it more rational.

However, professional deformation can also be negative, taking the form of an episodic or permanent character. The fact is that many people, having worked for a long time in one organization and having studied all the subtleties of the internal system of the work process, can gradually turn into hostages and negatively perceive information that relates to the improvement of work and introduction of new technologies into it. It will seem to them that the old and well-developed scheme of the organization is the best, and any changes that violate the "status quo" will lead to its deterioration. In addition, it is quite a serious problem for many organizations that some employees who have worked in the customer service industry for a long time begin to communicate with people in a purely functional manner, starting to treat all people with the same approach. This adversely affects both the character of the employee and the reputation of the firm, so to prevent this, competent managers often conduct necessary seminars and trainings, where they teach their specialists to approach each client individually, taking into account the various circumstances of the case.

In the education system, this problem can also be manifested, since the professional deformation of the teacher's personality is also noted quite often. In most cases, positive aspects are seen here, which are manifested in the teacher's greater involvement in the learning system and his desire to teach people and pass on their knowledge to them. However, even here there are pitfalls, because in some cases, professional orientation can be a kind of boring explanation for students of known things. This should be noticed in time and not be turned into a bad habit.

Thus, one can draw the main conclusion that every person should periodically conduct self-analysis of his character and pay attention not to the social nature of his behavior. This will allow time to identify undesirable trends and concentrate the individual on the education of exclusively positive aspects of his character in the process of work. As a result of this approach, the person's professional orientation will be extremely positive.
