And this is good for the whole body. And it's also an excellent antioxidant.

Ways of brewing tea are different for different peoples. This procedure is taken very seriously in China and Japan, in their culture this is an important public ritual. And although the modern world likes to simplify everything, special dishes for brewing, infusion and tea drinking are popular not only in these countries. And for good reason. The tea leaf has a rich aroma, which, when properly brewed, opens completely.

Previously, tea was only drunk hot. Even quenching thirst in the warm summer, it was used exactly that way. But not so long ago in America, a way was proposed to diversify the tradition by making a refreshing drink from tea. I liked cold tea not only for Americans and soon became popular on all continents.

How to prepare an ice tea?

There are two ways. First and foremost - hot tea from the teapot is poured onto the ice, lying in a mug. In the second method, ice is added to the cup with the beverage.

Ice tea is very popular in hot weather. Although in the East, the motherland of tea, even in this case it is drunk hot, many such a tradition is not very like. And to prepare a refreshing drink is not difficult, it will take only a little patience. You can make a cold green tea, which is slightly different from black by its action and is considered even more useful.

First - a few tips.

  • It is recommended to use pure table water, without impurities and chlorine.
  • Cold water when mixing should be at room temperature, not ice.
  • Before you clean the tea in the refrigerator, allow it to cool to room temperature.
  • It is not recommended to squeeze tea leaves - this will not improve the taste.
  • Do not be afraid to put too much ice, it should be enough.
  • Various additives - juices, berries, syrups, honey, spices - will make your drink unique.

Ice tea with ginger

In steep boiling water added soda (1/8 of a small spoon), then - tea (7-8 small spoons) and ginger (35 - 40 g). The ingredients are mixed and infused in a pot or ceramic cookware with a lid for about ten minutes. Then tea is filtered, sugar or honey is added to taste. When it cools down to room temperature, it can be placed in the refrigerator. Served with ice, decorated with lemon slices.

Cold green tea

15-16 small spoons of green tea, along with mint, are poured with boiling water and infused for 6-8 minutes. Tea must be filtered, and then add sugar to taste. Then, mixing the juice of one lemon with boiled water, you need to dilute it to obtain the optimum taste and put in the refrigerator. When serving, you can decorate with mint sprigs.

Now in stores you can see ready-made cold tea from different manufacturers. It is pleasant to drink in hot weather, however the maintenance of a useful drink in it is less, than in house. Ice tea "Lipton" or "Nestea" is made from tea extract with the addition of juices, fruit compositions. They are delicious and appealing to both children and adults.
