Summer holidays for children - it's time to forget! Many parents try to send their offspring away from the city, to nature, so that fresh air, bathing in the water, sun baths will strengthen the health of the children.

But we should not forget about another important aspect of vacations - the development of a growing personality. Therefore, it is best to send children to places where they will not be left to their own devices, where experienced teachers will be with them. The best option for this holiday is a summer children's camp.

Ah, summer, ah, children's camp! How many memories keeps the memory of an adult about this wonderful time! "Horror stories", told at night in a dark room, chilled the blood ... And what fun games were in the camp!

For example, "Shtander". What this word itself means, nobody knows. It is suggested that the name goes back to the German phrase "Stand hier!". But whether it is so or not is not at all important. The main thing in this game is that participation can be accepted by any number of people in it, and only the ball is needed from the attributes.

There are many variants of this game in the camp, but there is the most common. The driver throws the ball up and screams: "Shtander, (the name of any player)!" All run up, and the named one must catch the ball. If the ball is caught without a blow to the ground, the player "throws" the move - again screams the main phrase and calls another participant.

When you hit the ball on the ground, the one who was named "drives." He chooses one of those closest to him, and tries to hit him with the ball. If it is possible - throwing up the ball and shouting "Shtander!" Will now have to be someone who has been "swept away".

With the ball you can organize other games in the camp. For example, "Kostor" or "Kettle". This is a kind of volleyball, only this game is not team. The one who missed the ball, sits in a circle, in the "cauldron". Players can "jam" the punches of those sitting in a circle. But if in the "cauldron" someone can catch the ball before it touches the ground, everyone is "saved" - they get up again in a circle. In the "cauldron" they seat the perpetrator who made the unsuccessful blow.

Moving games in the camp are both physical education, and the development of a vital life skill - the ability to act in a team. Such were the military games "Zarnitsa", "Chapaevtsy", "Pathfinders", "Cossacks-robbers". Today, too, often hold similar games. They require preparation, participation of adults, these are basically large-scale events.

Such games in the camp involve the participation of two or more teams that have their own symbol - most often a certain color. It also specifies the main attribute of the game, for example, a flag or symbolic figure, a box with a report or some other object.

It is during the sleep of children that the game organizers carefully hide it. In the morning at the general meeting the conditions of this game with the children in the camp are announced. This can be a search for an attribute by scrapbook, a competition like "Merry Starts" or a map search using azimuth.

Another version of this event may resemble the good old "Cossacks-robbers", when one team hides, putting the arrow icons, and the other is following the trail and is looking for them.

Winners must wait for sweet prizes. However, it should be remembered that the main thing is not to win, but to participate. Therefore, those who have not been lucky this time should be rewarded.
