A cut of fleece (here it is pink) measuring 40x32 cm, a rectangle made of corduroy (in a photo of purple with patterns) 40x21 cm, plastic balls (filler) - about 40 grams, black beads for eyes, strong thread, scissors, glue, sewing machine.

If necessary, you can paste a pattern on a more dense paper, for example, cardboard, then cut it (it is still useful for further sewing). Attach a pattern to the underside of the fabric with the help of pins. Cut out the workpiece from the fabric. Then stitch the parts in order, leaving a gap of half a centimeter. Before you sew, it is better to sweep the seams or pin it with your fingers, so that the fleece does not move to the side, since you will not have to scribble straight. Fill the paws and nose with a filler, then sew them. Do the same with the trunk of the platypus. In place of the eye, sew black beads. In the end, it is necessary to sew all parts of the animal together. So the toy is ready with its own hands. Be sure to save the patterns. You can make a few colorful platypus or start sewing them to order, if you do very well. And this is a very profitable business, since a thing created by one's own hands is always appreciated much more than a factory one.
