Finishing lining

Lining made of pine, larch, aspen and linden is suitable for home and bath. It is important to pay special attention to its quality when buying, as the marriage occurs quite often.

The lining has been used for a long time as a building material. This name was given to her in those times when her main purpose was to cladding wagons. At the moment, this term is commonly understood as a beautiful skin board with a thickness of up to 22 mm. With its help, they finish the sauna, baths, balconies, as well as living quarters, but not very often.

Finishing clapboard is sometimes carried out by attaching it directly to the wall or ceiling. This is not always possible, therefore, more often it is fastened to the crate - a frame made of wooden blocks, which is first packed on the walls, and then the lining is fastened to it. And then there is a rule: if the material will be fixed vertically, the crate should be made of bars, located horizontally. With the horizontal fastening of the lining, the lath is made vertically. The cladding can be mounted and diagonally, the main thing - perpendicular to the lining.

Finishing lining is carried out with a preliminary leveling of the walls in the room, if initially they are not even, or the lath must be fixed to the wall so that it is placed in the same plane.

After the crate is packed and its position is measured by means of a level, the lining can be started by lining. Traditionally it starts from one corner and moves towards the other. The lining is fastened by means of conventional nails, but the fastening points in this case will be clearly visible. This can be avoided if, when nailing the lining, hammer nails in its grooves. At the moment there are special brackets for fixing it, which you can use.

As already mentioned, the lining can be done in different directions. Some prefer to place it vertically, some horizontally, and someone can place it diagonally. At the last variant it is necessary to consider, that it will be difficult enough in execution work with a considerable quantity of a waste, however the final result will be rather attractive from the aesthetic point of view. It should be said that the boards are placed in a horizontal position in those rooms where they want to visually make the room larger, but at the same time its height visually decreases. If you use a vertical mount, the opposite result will be obtained. When the house is decorated with a lining, it is necessary to take into account these patterns.

After the completion of the main work, it is important to protect this material, since the tree may well damp, blacken, lose its original appearance. For this purpose, special means are used, which cover the lining. When using a colorless coating, it is possible to preserve the original appearance of the tree. If you finish the bath with a lining, then this option will look very attractive. In the event that due to protection it would be desirable also to hide certain lacks of a tree, it is possible to use a varnish of a darker tone or to add in a varnish any kolor. Those who want to make the room beautiful and original, it is difficult to find a more attractive option than the finish of the lining.
