Palace "Malyutka" in St. Petersburg - a special department of the registry office

The appearance of a little man in the world is an event that all future parents are looking forward to. In any case, it will be remembered for life. In a few days, parents will receive a birth certificate . And only in St. Petersburg, a child who is only a few days old can be awarded a medal. This is done by the staff of an institution such as the Registration Palace "Malyutka". Where is it located, what history has and when to go there? Read - and you will know everything!

So, the Palace "Malyutka" is a special department of the Petersburg Civil Registry Office. Moreover, there are no more institutions of this type in Russia anywhere. Address of the Palace: st. Furshtatskaya, 58. This building is the former mansion of Spiridonov.

History of the building

NV Spiridonov, a collegiate adviser, acquired a plot of land on which now stands a luxurious mansion, almost untouched by time, in 1894. Only a modest building on one floor and a small garden were located here. They obviously did not correspond to this area of Petersburg, which already in those years was quite prestigious. Yes, and Spiridonov himself dreamed of a mansion that would not be inferior to neighboring houses.

Already in 1895-1896 a building was built in which the Palace "Malyutka" is now located. The architects who worked on it were AN Pomerantsev, VF Svinin and IS Kitner.

Description of the house

The facade of the mansion is made in an eclectic style, the details of which are interwoven with elements of Baroque, Renaissance and German classicism. Strict symmetry well balances the luxurious look. The central aisle is decorated with a wide balcony, which the powerful Atlanteans securely hold.

The layout of the palace type of Spiridonov's mansion was carefully thought out by the architects. The main staircase is surrounded by ceremonial living rooms, in the center of which there is a cozy dance room. Special nodal transitions provide an opportunity to view the building through and through. On the second floor, sequentially, one after another, are the main rooms. In their interior, you can guess the details of different architectural trends. There are elements of graceful rococo, high classicism, luxurious Renaissance and picturesque Moorish style. The fact that it is a house created for a family life, not without modest holidays and just quiet evenings by the fireplace, is told by small details that support, however, its atmosphere. Set parquet, mirrors, marble, rich modeling, painting - all this makes the mansion cozy and especially attractive.

For more than 20 years the Spiridon family owned this house. In 1916, it was bought by the merchant IA Malikov. But after the October Revolution there was an orphanage here. The middle of the 20s was marked by the opening in the walls of the mansion of an institute that trained dental technicians and existed here before the war. Even the All-Russian Society for Cultural Relations has been operating in this building since 1956. And already in 1965, there was opened a registry office called "Malyutka" - the Palace of birth registration.

Presentation of medals

Since the signing of the special order by the St. Petersburg Government (August 24, 2006), every child born in the northern capital of Russia who is a citizen of the Russian Federation can receive a commemorative medal if his birth is registered with the local registry office. No money is required for this. In addition, if the parents wish, this can happen in a special, solemn atmosphere. At the time of delivery of the first document of the child in his honor sounds the Hymn to the Great City.

Such a ritual will never be erased from the memory of young parents, because it is a real holiday. Nothing to say - this is perhaps the best start to the life of a small Russian citizen. Now the monthly staff of the Palace "Malyutka" register more than five hundred kids, and this figure is growing every year.

Order of treatment

Who can come to the Palace of the "Baby" to register the birth of a child here? This is available to any resident of St. Petersburg and does not depend on the area of the northern capital, in which young parents are registered. If the mother and father of the child are legal spouses, then one of them must submit an application to the Palace before the baby turns month. If the parents are not officially married, then the statements must be written by each of them.

In addition, you will need more such documents:

  • Help from the medical institution, which states when and where the child was born. If the baby was born in a home environment, then you need a witness - a person who can confirm this.
  • Passports of parents.
  • A certificate of marriage of parents, if any.

Once again, we note that they register a child in the Palace and hold a solemn ritual absolutely free. At the moment, the Palace "Malyutka" in St. Petersburg allows you to file an application electronically with the help of the city's state portal. Services.

For the solemn registration the last 3 days of the week are intended: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can mark this event with your family and friends right here, renting a buffet table.
