Overview of the Italian sports car "Ferrari-Enzo"

"Ferrari-Enzo" - a two-seat sports car of Italian production, which was produced for three years (in the period from 2002 to 2005). The main creator of this machine was the Italian designer and entrepreneur Enzo Ferrari, in whose honor the novelty was named.

If you look at the sports car from the outside, you can say that the "Ferrari-Enzo" (photo of the car you can see a little higher) is a simple racing car designed for operation on urban streets. The design of the machine, probably, does not leave anyone indifferent - the muscular lines of arches, stylish optics and aerodynamic bumper will accurately hook the view of other road users. In general, the body itself is not made of metal and not of galvanized steel. Its main component is carbon fiber, which is distinguished by its high strength and surprisingly light weight. At a glance you can see that the entire car is literally "riddled" with air intakes. This is not done to make the sport car look more impressive. Such apertures are designed to increase the clamping force, as well as to effectively cool the engine, which at high loads heats up to extreme temperatures.

The "highlight" of the car is the driver's door. Their loops are designed so that the whole structure rises at an angle of 45 degrees. This non-standard way of opening the doors gives the Ferrari-Enzo greater originality and increases the interest of customers.

As for the technical characteristics, then under the hood (it is more correct to say "behind the driver's back") is a sixty-valve 12-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 6 liters and a capacity of 660 horsepower. As a basis, Italian engineers took an 8-cylinder engine from the Maserati. For the first time, the use of a twelve-cylinder engine on Ferrari models was recorded only with the advent of the Enzo model, which is a participant in a large experiment in this field. An important feature in the technical specifications are 19-inch light alloy wheels with low-profile Bridgestone rubber. Thanks to such wheels, the car "Ferrari-Enzo" confidently dispersed to 350 kilometers per hour, without losing its maneuverability. A hundred machine is gaining in 3.3 seconds. For effective braking, the Italian is supplied with fifteen-inch carbon-ceramic brake discs from Brembo. It is better not to remember fuel consumption here, but we will note it. To this little girl drove at least 100 kilometers without problems on the highway, it will require about 23 liters of gasoline.

Ferrari-Enzo: the price

The cost of a sports car remains in the middle range for cars of this class. For ordinary Russians, eleven million rubles have always been and remain a transcendent amount, so only the elite can buy Ferrari-Enzo. And that is not a fact, because the production of sports cars was canceled in 2005, and the whole company produced less than 400 machines.
