Official symbols of the state: what is the anthem of the Russian Federation?

What is the anthem of the state? This is one of the state symbols of any country. Surely, there is no such person who does not know what an anthem is. Each nation has its own solemn and musical work that unites and inspires all its citizens. The words of a hymn sometimes reflect the essence of the state itself, its policy, its internal structure, and so on.

History of the Russian anthem

The emblem, flag, anthem of Russia - these are its three main state symbols. Of course, they all deserve respect, but in this article we are interested in the hymn. In our country there have been a number of national anthems, patriotic and spiritual. They were born in the time of Peter the Great as solemn songs. I really liked the king's vivant edgings, usually performed by the choir during any official solemn events. One of the well-known related historical facts is that during the confinement with Sweden of the Nystadt Peace, Tsar Peter the Great, on his knees, sang a church hymn entitled "We Praise God." The army in the era of the Great Peter performed military marches, the most famous of which was the march of the Preobrazhensky regiment.

The first officially executed anthem of Russia was "Song to the Russian Tsar". It was performed on the melody of the anthem of England "God Save the King." A little later he had a new text - a poem by the poet V. Zhukovsky "The Prayer of the Russians." And only in 1833 the Russian musical symbol acquired its final form. The people learned what a hymn is, from the point of view of its majestic, sensitive and powerful performance. This, of course, "God save the Tsar". Since then it has sounded everywhere and everywhere - at the court of the emperor, in the army, during civil solemn events and events. He acquired the status of the national anthem of the Russian Empire. His execution was mandatory at military parades, during the consecration of banners, as well as in the army and navy. And only the February Revolution abolished it. Since then, several hymns have been used. At the end of 2000, President V. Putin's decree approved the words of S. Mikhalkov that sounded to the music of A. Aleksandrov.

The music of the present anthem was still familiar to Soviet citizens during the reign of Joseph Dzhugashvili - Stalin. That is why the people elected to the honor of adopting a new national musical symbol did not want to do this in any way. The fact is that the anthem of Russia, whose music evoked associations with Stalin's repressions, seemed unacceptable to many. Nevertheless, after a long debate, it was nevertheless approved.

So, let's sum up what a hymn is. This is the musical-identifying sign of a state. This is a certain piece of music or a theme that performs the function of identifying the state, whose official symbol it is. Today, for insulting (abusing) the anthem of the Russian Federation, you can go to prison for up to one year, or you can pay a fine of up to three hundred times the minimum wage.
