He called himself a genius and a Scythian, led a life half-crazy, naturally, was not printed and was an idol for his literary environment and a legend - for everyone else.

"Glory to Glazkov brought his poems of the late 1930s and 1940s, who stood in direct opposition to the official canon," Irina Vinokurova writes.
