Russia is famous for its sights. In every district, republic, city there is something to see. Traveling around the country, the tourist travels to Tatarstan. Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Bolgar, Sviyazhsk, Bugulma - perhaps, this is an incomplete list of cities that are famous for their places of interest. This article will be devoted to the second largest settlement of the republic. Of course, there are many sights in the city, but I want to highlight some of them. Even foreign tourists come here to visit the famous Victory Park. Naberezhnye Chelny is a colorful city with a rich history. And after reconstruction of some objects wishing to be convinced of veracity of the told words becomes more and more.

Take, for example, Victory Park. Naberezhnye Chelny conducted work on the restoration of the facility. Since the erection of the park, it has never undergone major overhaul. But here it is pleasant to spend time not only thanks to walks in the park zone, but also 50 different attractions. Among them are "Caterpillar", "Orbit", "Zodiac", "Flying Dutchman". The city of Naberezhnye Chelny is famous for its cultural architectural monuments. Among them there are also those that refer to memorials of republican significance. They are protected by the state. Among them is the Holy Ascension Church. The Borovets Church also belongs to them.

Initially, the walls were wooden, later became stone. The three-table Borovets church was erected (mostly) at the expense of the famous writer and merchant Elabuga merchant Dmitry Ivanovich Stakheyev.

Before the revolution, the parish of the temple numbered 2 thousand people. After the revolution, almost ruins remained from the building. And only the efforts of parishioners, workers and builders in 1989 helped restore the temple (by the way, the highest in the area). Thanks to their efforts, the church had a new high bell tower; Beautiful openwork fencing around the territory of the parish. And the area around the temple is more like a park zone.

Nur-Ihlas Mosque

About 20 years ago the largest Muslim religious building appeared on the territory of the city. "Nur-Ikhlas" (translated as "Fidelity") is a structure built on all the canons of modern times, but the style of architecture more closely resembles the postmodern.

According to various sources, the construction of the mosque began in 1993 and continued until 2005. The architect of the project was VA. Manukyan. The building can accommodate 500 people. It is noteworthy, but for men and women are designed different entrances. High portals at the doors, a hemispherical dome, miscellaneous high-altitude mosques, flat covers, a tall spire-shaped minaret - it would seem that all this does not fit together. But how beautifully and discreetly it reflects both the culture of the stone architecture of the Volga Bulgaria and the modern Tatar style.

Nur-Ihlas is the only mosque of its kind in both size and beauty. The picturesque voluminous composition attracts tourists due to the unique combination of Eastern Muslim, traditional Tatar and Bulgarian cultures in the external and internal decoration of the religious structure.

Taub Mosque

Not only in Victory Park Naberezhnye Chelny invite their guests. Tourists with awe trembling visit historical, cultural, religious monuments of architecture. In the old part of the city there is a cult attraction, known as Tauba (translated as "Repentance").

The mosque was erected in 1989-1992. On the occasion of a landmark date: the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Bulgarian state. According to the idea of the authors of the project, the building was erected in the Art Nouveau style, while the hipped roof of the hall and minaret remained traditional. On separate sides of the facade are separate entrances for men and women. On the north side is a 53-meter-long minaret, topped by a gilded crescent moon, on which craftsmen engraved sayings from the Koran.

Particular attention should be paid to bright stained glass windows. They became an ornament of the northern facade of the mosque. Decorated interior decoration Tauba white marble with carved floral ornament and medallions.
