Released in 2010, C5 has become a vivid example of the producer's greed. Although the phone is not bad in its own way, Nokia managed to immediately spoil the positive impression by announcing the price.

Design

Despite the fact that the C5 Nokia belongs to inexpensive devices, the appearance turned out to be very solid. In the body besides plastic there are also metal elements. This gives similarities to the more expensive models from the E series.

The solidity of C5 is diluted by the rounded shape and the outline of the body. The device looks more soft and not so noticeable. On the other hand, against the background of the brothers, the device is absolutely not allocated.

The user will appreciate the dimensions of the Nokia C5 00. The device came out easy, only 89.3 grams. Slightly reduced the thickness of 12.3 mm, but for the cellular it is quite an acceptable characteristic.

The front part of the model C5 is covered with painted plastic, similar to metal. To protect the display, a panel with a black border is used. Under the screen there was a keyboard, and at the top - a front-end and a speaker.

The upper end was assigned to the charging slot, the input is 3.5 mm, and also the USB connector. Although the manufacturer noticeably overloaded the party, it did not affect the comfortable use.

On the left side there is only a place for the strap, and on the right side there is a volume control and a slot for the flash drive. The memory card goes deep into the device, and it will be very difficult to get it without foreign objects. Problems will arise with the volume control, which is heavily recessed into the case. The user will be inconvenient to use the buttons.

At the back of the device, the manufacturer placed the main camera, flash, two speakers and a logo. The cover hiding the battery is completely made of metal. However, the material is very susceptible to scratches. Damage to the lid immediately catches your eye.

Display

The Nokia C5 00 has a 2.2-inch screen installed. Unfortunately, the manufacturer saved by installing a TFT-matrix. This solution affects when working with the device in the sun. The Nokia C5 display loses its brightness, but the position is not critical. Obsolete technology also reduced viewing angles. Even with a slight tilt, the image is visibly distorted.

The resolution of pixels is 320 to 240. Given the small diagonal, the picture is acceptable. Looking at the screen, you can detect small pixels. Compensates the lack of 16 million colors.

The display will please its brightness and saturation. It is not necessary to expect more from a simple smartphone.

Camera

The main advantage of C5 is its excellent autonomy. The phone will provide the user with trouble-free operation for several days.

Small dimensions also pleased many owners. The device is much lighter and less modern smartphones, which for the better affected the convenience in the work.

Negative feedback

The disadvantages of C5 are much greater. Most alarming overestimated cost device. To give 7-8 thousand for a frankly weak smartphone looks stupid.

Do not inspire confidence in the users and the camera. The 3.2 megapixel matrix is not capable of making high-quality pictures and can fail in conditions of poor lighting.

For the 2010 device, 256 MB of memory is definitely not enough. The user will not have a choice but to install a flash card.

The result

Nokia C5 looks interesting and pretty attractive. However, the greed of the manufacturer reduces the popularity of the device. The only advantage, high autonomy of the device, absolutely does not justify its price.
