The MIE Compatto steamer went on sale 2 years ago. But in 2017 the manufacturer significantly improved it and reissued it. I have already purchased an updated model for home use.
In the photo you can see the difference between the first and second model. The device became more stable, and the design - more reliable.

Uniqueness of the model
We can say that MIE Compatto is a complex of items for ironing. Among its components there is a steamer, a steam iron and an ironing board. The construction is connected by a sturdy rack. This is a transformer model, which can be used both in disassembled form and assembled. About everything in order.
Appearance and dimensions
You already know what the device looks like, and now let's talk about the dimensions. The dimensions of the ironing platform - 30x90 cm, the height of the rack - 175 cm. The height of the ironing board in working condition - 85 cm.
A big plus of this model is a removable steam generator with a strap. That is, you can put it on like a purse and move around the apartment. So I stripped the curtains, fabric covers for furniture, soft toys and pillows in other rooms. The volume of the water tank is 0.85 l. (This was enough for 35 minutes of uninterrupted operation of the steamer). Moving around the apartment with a steam generator was comfortable - it was not at all heavy and very comfortable form. In addition, the elongated electrical cord allowed me to freely move from room to room.

MIE Compatto is equipped with a quality steam iron, the sole of which heats up. Therefore it can be used instead of iron. The formation of steam in this model occurs directly in the ironing, inside which the heating element is hidden. That is, you do not have to wait for the water to warm up. On the handle ironing is a button, and the steam begins to stand out instantly, it is only necessary to press it.
The MIE Compatto ironing board is fixed in two positions: vertical and horizontal. For example, when I need to strip off a shirt, I hang it on the hanger, and leave the board in a vertical position. By the way, I store this model in assembled form. It is so compact that it fits in the gap between the cabinet and the wall, or under the bed.

If I want to use MIE Compatto as an ironing system, I disassemble it and set the board horizontally. By the way, in the photo you can see how it is convenient to attach the steam generator (under the board) and the steam iron (on the rack, and the height of the attachment can be adjusted).

I did not find a video on the Internet with an overview of the updated device, but there is a video about the first model of MIE Compatto. I recommend to watch it.
Results of steaming
For testing the steamer with the ironing board MIE Compatto, I specifically selected products from different types of fabric. Results with comments are summarized in the table:

This time I placed the ironing surface not vertically or horizontally, but at an angle. For steaming a long dress this is the most comfortable position. The result exceeded all expectations: in a few minutes the model MIE Compatto professionally coped with steaming the most complex product. |
| Suede bag | I used the bag for about two years, and its appearance became unpresentable. My friends advised me to hold suede over the steam, but I could not imagine how to implement it. The exit appeared with the purchase of the steamer. I did a few times with a tissue appliance, and a miracle happened. Suede bag has found a second life! Par really saved her. |
I also note that I use a steamer to refresh things that have stuck in the closet. Steam removes clothing from odors and gives it a more fresh look.
