Metal Blinds

Vertical metal blinds can be called one of the least common types of blinds in principle.

If you imagine the fabric blinds , where the fabric is replaced by a severe opaque and clanking metal, you can understand why. The metal blinds, both vertical and (to a lesser extent) horizontal ones, were not found to be particularly prevalent in residential premises - at least the horizontal version is now used much less than was used up to the present abundance of materials and design tricks. But found in industrial premises, where the curtains are naturally required to withstand severe shop conditions: lighting should be regulated. On blinds, the vertical price varies widely, depending on the material and processing used to manufacture this product. One of the least expensive, but combining the most clumsy embodiment of all the functions of the blinds as such, are metal blinds. They happen, as usual, horizontal, vertical and even sometimes there are rolls. The width of the slats for vertical metal blinds is the same as for all others, plastic and fabric: the "European" standard is 127 millimeters, the "American" standard is 89 millimeters. For the horizontal version, the standards are somewhat different: 16 millimeters and 25 millimeters. The latter is indeed just for the metal version, as for the same wooden horizontal blinds there are standards. The main positive qualities of vertical metal blinds can be considered the following: - they are perfectly practical, do not require special care and are usually very durable; - do not occupy particularly much space; - metal is an ideally light-tight material; - Struts to various unfavorable conditions.

Not so long ago, among connoisseurs of both high-tech and seclusion, a tendency to use vertical metal blinds in its interior appeared. This unquestionably avant-garde solution allows one of the highlights in the high-tech style to be achieved as such: proximity to industrial and production topics. After all, as already mentioned, such vertical metal blinds with their austere appearance, indispensable in the shop conditions with qualities and severe steel shine - an excellent thing in the sense of the repetition of the atmosphere of the plant located in the city, where everything is subordinated to the utmost functionality.
