Meet: this motorbike is a robot motorcyclist from Yamaha

Yamaha presented its latest and to date unique development at the Tokyo Motor Show - a motorcycle robot.

Representatives of the company said that this robot, which received the eloquent name "Motobot" (Motobot), is able to ride on any unmodified motorcycle at a speed of 200 km / h.

Surprisingly, this robot looks plausible enough and is well made. And at the same time he still has a wheel stabilizer.

Why was a robot-motorcyclist developed?

A representative of the Yamaha company in his brief statement to the press explained that Motobot was designed as a link with the technologies of the future.

Using it, Yamaha engineers are planning to create a new security system for motorcyclists. In addition, the developments will be used in the further development of the business.
