Lice and fleas are insects-parasites that not only suck blood, but also are carriers of various pathogens of infections. It would seem, how can such small insects be dangerous to humans? But it is really so, therefore, if you notice a flea or louse on your own, urgently you should take measures to destroy them.

Fleas in humans are very rare: as a rule, they jump from pets to try more and human blood. It should be noted that young fleas are black, and bloodsuckers "with experience" acquire a brown color. Fleas on a man easily move and jump well enough. So in a moment they can be anywhere.

Where can fleas appear in humans?

The most common fleas appear due to pets. They can also be brought by a person from the street or, say, from the basement of a high-rise building, where all sorts of things are stored, and cats, rats, dogs are huddled. It's only a couple of minutes to go to a place like a flea can jump on you, and not even one.

Therefore, going out to the street, be sure to inspect your clothes for the presence of fleas on it. Remember: lice and fleas in humans are dangerous parasites, which bring a lot of problems and discomfort, so the places where fleas live, you need to handle, and pets to get rid of these insects.

How to deal with fleas

Nowadays there are quite a lot of different "chemistry" with which you can get rid of these little bloodsuckers once and for all. Sprays, animal collars, drops, special shampoos - all these are very effective tools that allow you to quickly get rid of fleas.

How to handle the apartment

If fleas were seen in humans, then it is necessary to immediately process the apartment. It is carried out as follows:

1. Vacuum cleaner you need to thoroughly clean all surfaces to get rid of flea larvae.
2. Carpets put on the street and, if possible, washed with chemicals.
3. Pillows, bedspreads put on the street, where they should be sprayed and dried.
4. Things to wash in hot water.
5. Use insecticides to treat the apartment. Do not forget about the respirator and gloves.

It should be noted that the apartment is treated very carefully: spray it is necessary for furniture, in all the cracks, under the plinth. In this case, the windows must be closed. The treated premise should be left for at least 2-3 hours, after which it should be thoroughly ventilated. It is undesirable to wash the treated surfaces for 3-4 days. If necessary, re-treatment should be done after 1-2 weeks, as new fleas will hatch from eggs and deliver, as before, discomfort.

So, if you notice a flea, try to find the reason for its appearance in your house: make the processing of pets. In the case if the flea was accidentally brought in from the street, do not worry, because one is not likely to get accustomed to it. If it was decided to disinfect the room, then always use gloves and a respirator.
