And in the past he was a massively entertainer, head of an advertising agency, an airplane builder, a retailer, an international specialist. And in all these areas of activity Lev Khasis succeeded. The banking sector, in which he was offered work, also eventually became a native businessman. What was his path to Olympus entrepreneurship, and what career heights have been achieved? Years of childhood and adolescence

Khasis Lev Aronovich - a native of the city of Samara. He was born into a Jewish family. Parents of the future entrepreneur worked at the local aircraft factory. But the profession of a merchant in the family was perceived negatively, so the boy from a young age dreamed that he would make aircraft.

Naturally, having received the certificate of maturity, Lev Khasis began to prepare for entering the Kuibyshev Aviation Institute (KuAI), at the Faculty of Aircraft Building. He successfully passed the entrance exams and became a student of the university.

However, within the walls of the institute, he showed interest not only in engineering, but also in organizing entertainment events. Lev Khasis was preparing KVN, "Student Spring", moving from place to place the column and buying the necessary requisites in stores. When he will occupy leading positions in large enterprises, he will begin to actively sponsor the local KVN team "Samara Aircraft".

Start of work

Studying at the last year of the Institute, Lev Khasis was already the head of the KuAI International Relations Department. His duties were to interest foreign applicants on a paid basis to go to study at the Kuibyshev Aviation Institute. And soon the young man on an equal footing opened two advertising agencies: Vekt and InterVolga.

According to unofficial information, his father-in-law Vyacheslav Burakov, who was the owner of the printing house, assisted the youth in organizing the advertising business .

In the late 1980s, the young man received a coveted diploma. However, Khasis Lev Aronovich for a couple of years with his head goes into the advertising business. During this period he headed the commercial structure of JSC "Samara Trade House".

In 1993, the graduate of KuAI moved to work for AvtoVAZbank, and after a while he was appointed arbitration manager of a large enterprise of Corporation Aviakor Corporation. Already in 1996, he was transformed from an "external observer" into the president of this commercial structure. And the situation in Aviakor was critical: the plant's products were unclaimed in the market, there were huge debts on wages, and in order to pay off with employees, a number of non-core subsidiaries had to be created: Aviakor-builder, Aviakor-furniture and so on.

But even in this way it was not possible to fully pay off the debt in a short time.

Help came from outside

The situation straightened in the late 1990s, when a large tycoon Oleg Deripaska invested in the Samara region . He bought the business from Khasis, and offered him the post of vice-president of SibAlA. However, Lev Aronovich preferred the role of a "free artist". The businessman changes one post after another: a member of the expert-advisory council under the chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, the head of the executive body of JSC "Trading House of the Central Department Store", the representative of the law firm Mikhail Barshchevsky ...

Scope of retailing

The turning point in the career of the graduate KuAI occurred in 2002, when Khasis Lev Aronovich, whose biography is of interest to a huge number of entrepreneurs, gets an offer to become the head of the board of directors of TD "Perekrestok". This gift was presented to him by his old friends from Alfa Group. The businessman immediately realized that retailing would bring a good profit: a buyer from the "middle class" category appeared not only in megacities, but also on the periphery.

In 2006, two large retail chains, such as Perekrestok and Pyaterochka, merge. As a result, a large structure of the 5 Retail Group was formed, and Lev Aronovich took over the post of chief executive officer. In this capacity, he will work hard until 2011.

Khasis showed his best business qualities, working in X5. He came up with corporate orders, a hymn and other components of the culture of the "work collective". However, despite the scale of the company's activity, it was not possible to defeat the retail chain "Magnit" in terms of its development pace. As a result, in 2011, Mikhail Fridman decided to update the staff of the management, and Lev Aronovich withdrew from the trading network.

And again the trading network

American retailer Wal-Mart Stores, which won international markets, offered Khasis the post of senior vice president for international operations. His workplace was in the state of Arkansas (Bentonville), and he, without thinking twice, agreed. However, despite all the power and authority of the American trading network, it was not possible to absorb someone from domestic competitors because of their absence. KuAI graduate has gained great authority from the management of Wal-Mart Stores. It could be assumed that Lev Khasis will cooperate with the Americans long enough. The anniversary (50 years) became a memorable event for the businessman. He received a congratulation from the "boss" Doug McMillan, who praised his work.

However, he nevertheless decided to try himself in the banking sector and in the autumn of 2013 became the first deputy head of the board of Sberbank.

A family

Lev Aronovich, like no other, is happy in his personal life, although he did not immediately meet his real companion. Twice the businessman bound himself in marriage. His first lady was Natalia Barshchevskaya, the daughter of a well-known lawyer. Khasis Lev Aronovich, whose wife was from a wealthy family, was happy when Natalia bore him two sons - Alexander and Leonid. However, in the middle of the zero family idyll came to an end, and the marriage union fell apart.

In 2009, he offered his hand and heart to a young girl named Olga. The wedding ceremony was lush, pompous.
