Laryngitis. Symptoms

Laryngitis is an inflammation that occurs in the throat of a person. This disease is divided into two types - chronic and acute. Laryngitis is usually accompanied by a flu, ARVI, or other similar ailments.
The reasons for the occurrence of this disease are different. In most cases, laryngitis is associated with the processes of supercooling the body and reducing the protective forces of immunity, accompanied by attacks of pathogenic viruses. The reason can have a mechanical nature, and be a consequence of a trauma or a burn. There are also factors directly influencing the onset of the disease. These include: increased dustiness in the room, the presence of foci of inflammation inside the body, pathological processes in the respiratory system, as well as an increased voice timbre.

Laryngitis, the symptoms of which indicate a chronic course of the disease, is often a consequence of untreated acute respiratory viral infections or frequently occurring ailments. In the risk zone there are also people working in hazardous conditions in chemical industries.

Laryngitis, the symptoms of which appear in the swelling of the vocal cords, leads to a loss of their ability to vibrate when making sounds. In addition, there is a narrowing of the bronchi, which complicates the respiratory function. Laryngitis, the symptoms of which include and barking cough, requires a lot of attention. Difficult breathing, which occurs with an increased frequency, can cause a particular ailment. Such a disease mostly affects small patients.

Acute laryngitis, the symptoms of which are expressed in the puffiness of the larynx, does not allow the vocal cords to be completely closed. If the disease is accompanied by a flu, the process of hemorrhage is likely in the throat.

Laryngitis, the symptoms of which indicate the defeat of only a certain part of the larynx, is called isolated. The course of this disease manifests itself in insignificant pain when swallowing, as well as in the presence of a simple cough with sputum appearing with time. A voice can disappear with time.

If laryngitis is acute, then it is accompanied by headaches and increased body temperature. The period of the course of this disease is a period of time, a little more than seven days. Acute laryngitis is very dangerous. This disease provokes stenosis of the larynx, which occurs in the lining region.

The most unpredictable and complex is the laryngitis that occurs in children. Its course is manifested by very active processes. At the same time, air access to the lungs is blocked. Breaths and exhalations are accompanied by wheezing, which causes tears in young patients. This process provokes a lack of oxygen in the body and can cause coma.

Chronic laryngitis, the symptoms of which are initially manifested in rapid fatigue and hoarseness of the voice, is accompanied by perspiration and dryness, coughing and sensation of the presence of a foreign object in the larynx. All these factors should be the cause of immediate treatment to a specialist for prescribing a course of treatment. Self-administration of drugs does not allow to lead the process to full recovery. The pathological phenomenon at the same time subsides, and, under the appropriate premises, flares up with even greater force. In this case, the disease can develop into a heavier form.

When passing the course of treatment, it is necessary to completely stop smoking tobacco products, taking spicy food, and also alcohol. Relief from the disease will be promoted and the minimum possible increase in the voice, which is one of the causes of laryngitis.
