Lamborghini Egoista car review

The car Lamborghini Egoista was first shown to the public during a closed show dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Italian company, which took place in 2013. Already at the first glance at this masterpiece it becomes clear that it was developed on the basis of the desire for innovation and alternative, extraordinary solutions. This car, as an expensive suit, was created only for one person who through her can express his personality brightly. Given this, it's no surprise that the developers called her that name.

Exterior

Externally, the Lamborghini Egoista is somewhat like a kind of fighter. Whatever it was, for this design of the car, the developers were inspired by an American helicopter. A novelty based on the very well-known Gallardo model was built. The exterior was created under the guidance of Alessandro d'Abrosio. Although the appearance of the machine is extremely unusual, it is very difficult to call it very beautiful. In fact, the model is a kind of racing car, the body of which is embellished and ennobled due to various materials. The driver's cell is made of an alloy of carbon with aluminum. It isolates the pilot from all sorts of external influences and is designed to protect him in emergency situations.

Front wheels provide a sense of futuristic dynamics. In the upper part of the car there are no any aerodynamic elements, and the flaps were integrated into the body. Depending on driving conditions, they operate automatically, increasing the stability of the machine at high speeds. The back of the Lamborghini Egoista is open, so the mechanical "stuffing" of the car is visible to everyone around. As for the optics, the model is equipped with two white xenon headlamps, as well as two rear red colors. In addition, as markers are used orange lights on the sides and two lights on the roof. The body and wheels of the car are covered with special anti-radar material.

Interior

Inside the car, everything is done in the style of a fighter. Talk about any comfort in the interior is not necessary, because the model is not intended for a quiet ride. The main problem of the Lamborghini Egoista interior can be called a rather complicated landing and disembarkation process. This is due not only to the fact that the car is very low, like many other sports cars. The fact is that in order to be inside, you must first open the capsule cover and remove the steering wheel. After this, the pilot must install his feet on specially assigned areas and put the steering wheel in place. Only after performing all these manipulations, he will be able to start the engine and start the ride. The driver's seat is equipped with four-point seat belts.

Engine

However strange it might sound, the designers decided not to create a new engine for the Lamborghini Egoista. Technical characteristics of the 5.2-liter (V-10) 560-horsepower unit, borrowed from the Gallardo model, allow the car to accelerate to "hundreds" in just 2.8 seconds. In this indicator the novelty surpasses its predecessor. At the same time, the maximum speed of the car is 350 km / h. Such impressive figures are associated with less weight and aerodynamic design.

Cost

In fact, this car is a concept car, so it did not arrive in mass production. Along with this, on individual orders, several copies of the model, according to unofficial information, have already been collected. As for the value of Lamborghini Egoista, the price of the model in the equivalent of the domestic currency is about 157 million rubles. Whatever it was, creating this car, the Italians clearly realized that the money will be the last indicator, which will draw attention to potential buyers. In this regard, it is not surprising that the company's corporate museum, most likely, is not the only place in which this car flaunts.
