Laika Husky. Features of the breed

Many call this dog the husky husky, although this is a gross mistake. Experienced cynologists will tell you that these separate breeds have different purposes. If the first was withdrawn for hunting for a fur-bearing animal, then the second one was used as a service one, a sled, so it is often called the Siberian sled dog. There are also significant differences in the exterior. But since we, inhabitants of the middle latitudes, perceive all the dogs that were bred in the conditions of the Far North as one type (Nordic, persistent), then we are accustomed to confuse one breed with another. For us there is no significant difference between the Alaskan malamute, the Samoyed dog and the Siberian mount.

Other cynologists believe that husk husky is a kind of breed that is part of a larger family. By thick undercoat and molting twice a year, when the fur becomes thinner in summer, these two types of dogs are similar. However, the wool of the Siberian husky has one feature: it does not exude the slightest smell of the dog. But, nevertheless, behind a dense wool (not so long, as at лаек) the daily leaving is necessary, especially in the period of moults. The biggest distinctive feature of the driving breed is the feather tail. He keeps a log, while in a hunting dog wrapped in a bagel and resting on his back.

Laika Husky has a character, due to the reasons for its removal. She is obedient and clever, excellent in training. She is so friendly that there is no point in using her as a guard dog. For hunting, it also suits little. Of course, in the conditions of the tundra and the taiga, Huskies can get their own food without a master. Uniting in packs like wolves, they drive small and medium game, but to bring prey to the hunter - above their strength: while you run to your assistant, the dog will leave you only "horns and legs." As the name of the fluffy hunters shows, they like to bark. Drivers can do this, but they prefer to make howling sounds.

But husk husky is extremely hardy: it can manage the metabolism of its body and run all day long with minimal energy. It is not right to think that the representatives of this breed must necessarily be of wolf color with piercing blue or gray eyes. In fact, any suit is allowed, from white to black, with spots and drawings, just like the color of the eyes: ordinary brown, blue, harlequin, light brown.

Now this breed is extremely popular, because these smart dogs in the city are wonderful companions, well-established in families with young children. Since they do not smell of dog and are very clean, they are just a find for a small apartment. How much does a husky husky purchased from a Russian breeder cost? It depends not only on the pedigree, but also on the individual qualities of the puppy. If the breeder has determined by the exterior that the dog belongs to the category "home pet" (not for exhibitions and not for breeding), the price of such puppy will be from 20 to 40 thousand rubles.

It is difficult to determine how much the Siberian Husky breed or show class costs. The price for especially valuable lines can reach up to 300 thousand rubles. And puppies from titled parents may not inherit their remarkable qualities, but their value still remains high. Once again, it should be emphasized that neither the color, nor the color of the eyes or lobe of the nose plays any role in pricing.
