Description of the preparation

Powder-lyophilizate in the form of white hygroscopic porous mass, is used to prepare a solution for injection.

Powder composition

The active ingredient of the drug "Laferobion" in ampoules is called recombinant human interferon. It is identical to alpha-2b-interferon and is synthesized by leukocyte cells of blood on which the interferon-interferon virus acts. The medication shows an immunomodulatory and antiviral effect, which does not show toxicity when administered through the respiratory organs.

The numerical value in the name of the medicine indicates the amount of active substance in the international unit of measurement (IU). For example, the preparation "Laferobion 100000" in ampoules for the preparation of an injection contains 10 ⁵ IU of recombinant human alpha-2b interferon . Auxiliary components are sodium chloride, dextran, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate.

The composition of rectal suppositories "Laferobion 150000" contains 150 thousand IU of recombinant human alpha-2b interferon. Inactive components include ascorbic acid, tocopherol acetate, fat solid.

Nasal powder contains 100 thousand or 500 thousand IU of recombinant human alpha-2b interferon. Inclusion in the composition of sodium chloride, dextran 70, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate allows to create a stable mixture.

Complex treatment in oncology

Use of nasal solution

Infants under 1 month of age are treated with nasal turundas moistened with a diluted "Laferobion" preparation, they are injected in turn, into each nostril for 15 minutes. When instilled such babies use a dosage from 50 thousand IU, the solution is administered 3 drops in each nostril 4-6 times a day. Duration of treatment is 3-5 days.
