It is quite obvious that this is the most insidious and low, but at the same time the most effective crime. Why? Because kidnapping in a very broad sense is kidnapping (from the English word kidnap - "kidnapping"), but because of the root kid ("child"), the meaning of this concept narrowed to the meaning of "abduction of children." And what can be more important for parents than children? Everything acquired by the overwhelming labor of parents (apartments, cars, dachas, mink coats, jewelery, stocks, furniture and other material goods) will never be compared to what is simply impossible to measure with money signs - with the life of your own child. A loving parent who could stand up to a severe test with physical pain, will never survive torture by threatening his child's life. The purpose of kidnapping is banal - profit.

What is the goal?

The main and most common goal of criminals - getting ransom, in this direction, to come up with something "better" is impossible, beyond competition - kidnapping.
