Town Hall and Market Square

Area of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky and the Church of the Virgin Mary

To the right of the Ascension Cathedral is the square of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, which, despite its small size, is not inferior in beauty to the architectural ensemble of the city center. The sights of the square are the ancient buildings around it and the Church of the Virgin Mary, one of the most beautiful and most valuable buildings of the city. In the guise of the church, two styles - the Renaissance and the Baroque - were intricately intertwined, giving the building its originality and uniqueness. Armenian Church

The Armenian church is another architectural monument of Ivano-Frankivsk. It was built in the middle of the 18th century on the site of a wooden church, in which a miracle occurred - the icon of the Virgin Mary was mitered. After several reconstructions, the church underwent significant changes, but it continues to amaze the parishioners with greatness and beauty. The decoration uses wooden sculptures and compositions, the canopy of the cupola and the walls are decorated with magnificent paintings and beautiful frescoes.

Lake Furious

One of the highest mountain lakes of the Ukrainian part of the Carpathians is located in a very picturesque corner of the majestic mountains. The waterfalls of Proby and Maniavsky

The Probi waterfall, despite its small height, is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful in the country.
