Childhood and kinship

Little Irinka was born in 1954 in a family of diplomats. Her grandmother was a Greek. It was she who gave her beautiful daughter the beautiful sad eyes. But the girl found out about this already as a schoolgirl. It was a family secret, because her father was a Soviet diplomat, and at that time a foreign kin was not welcomed. Irina's parents were from simple peasant families with many children. It was, as they were called, the "rural intelligentsia." They left their relatives quite early to get an education. They met at the Institute of Steel and Alloys. And after receiving the diplomas, the couple was distributed to Sverdlovsk, where Kaleria Gavrilovna, Ira's mother, was cooking steel. A few years later, Ilya's father went to study in Moscow. When a daughter appeared in the family, the pope was sent to the Berlin Trade Mission. Irinka was only three months old. In Germany, the family lived for five years. For the girl it was a time of round-the-clock happiness, because her mother was always there, she did not work in those years, doing daughter-raising.
