As a result, we get a smooth and whole tile from the front side, and the trimmed part will be hidden under the toilet, bath and sink. Using the trowel, apply a layer of glue and spread it with a notched trowel, making sure that the thickness of the mortar is approximately 1 cm. After that, firmly lay the tile on the floor and press it lightly, checking the horizontal level. If necessary, just tap it with a rubber hammer to level it. In the same way, we lay the next tile, making sure that the gaps between them are about 5 mm.
