This month is chosen because the bulbs will be ready to move from the ground to a new place only 30-45 days after the end of flowering. For this time the planting material will be typed nutrient elements and restore the damaged roots.

It will also be good to sprinkle all the September plantings with wood ash, which is then loosely ground on top of the soil. This method will reduce the acidity of the soil and increase the future flowering.
