How to merge pdf files

The pdf extension is translated from the English "portable document format" as a portable format document. The basic program for such files, which opens them by default, is one of the programs of the Adobe package, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and others, is Adobe Acrobat. PDF documents are a universal tool for exchanging text and graphic information that allows you to display the necessary information easily and without distortion, while having quite strong and effective mechanisms for copyright protection, blocking any attempts to illegally copy and edit the final files.

Very often files of this format are used to publish operating instructions, advertising booklets, menu for cafes and restaurants, that is, multi-page files having a complex structure. Therefore, there is a regular need to combine pdf-files into one, compose them for more convenient printing or publication. How can I do this? How to combine pdf-files in the best way?

The program Adobe Acrobat allows you to do this in several ways. First of all, the program has the function Combine, which is located in the menu under the File tab. In order to combine pdf with it, you just need to open all the files intended for merging and mark them in the required sequence. The program itself will create a new file, which you just need to rename and save. Such a combination of files is very convenient, if there is no danger of getting confused in pages or chapters.

If the document is complex and each page has a certain, pre-defined position, then in order to merge pdf, you can use the function of manual file layout. To do this, go to the menu in the View / Navigation Panel and select Pages there. As a result, a vertical panel will appear to the left of the page view, displaying a preview of all pages. To merge pdf with another file, you just need to open all the linked documents and manually move the necessary pages to the desired place in the merged file. It is very convenient to use right click to change the page orientation right in the Pages panel. In order to combine pdf with the Pages panel, you can use several donor files at once, delete unnecessary pages, add empty ones (or simply duplicate any page and delete its contents by pressing Ctrl + A / delete on the page). This method is very convenient and can be used as an addition to the first Combine method.

If you need to combine several jpg files into one pdf-file, there is a very simple and effective method for this too. It is not necessary to convert each image into pdf. It's enough to select the right jpg-files in the browser, right-click and select "open with Adobe Acrobat". A window will appear with a proposal to create one file, which must be answered with consent. That's it - a file of several pages is ready. Very simple and effective.

The options for combining pdf files are a lot. Everything depends on the specific case and the technical base. After all, there are no two absolutely identical files, as there are absolutely no identical computers. Therefore, any technical problem must be addressed in accordance with the specific capabilities and requirements of the system.
