After waiting for the glue to grab the threads and plywood, you can apply a fresh layer of resin and wrap another layer of thread. To achieve greater strength, it is recommended to make at least four such layers.

After the resin has completely hardened, it is possible to start grinding the sheath. You can give them the desired shape using a file and sandpaper. In order for the finished product to take on an aesthetic appearance, it should be dyed or taped.

How to make a knife for a knife from PVC?

To produce such scabbards it is necessary to stock up with a sharp knife, an industrial hair dryer and a piece of PVC pipe widely used in plumbing. The latter can be purchased at any construction store. The manufacture of such sheaths will take no more than half an hour.

First of all, it is necessary to cut off a piece of pipe of the required length. Having made a longitudinal cut on the pipe, it needs to be softened with the help of an industrial hair dryer. After that, the flexible plastic can be folded into a sheath. Surplus is cut with a sharp knife.
