How to insert a frame in Word 2007 in different ways
Microsoft Word 2007 has several options for inserting a frame into a document. For example, you can use it as a background image or add an individual design for the photo inserted in the document. Another option is to use its square shape as a general background. To understand how to insert a frame in Word 2007, you should study the menu on the main toolbar at the top of the document and find all these options.
Method number 1 - the most common
- You can insert it as a picture preinstalled by MS Word. Click the "Insert" tab located at the top of the page, and then click the "Image" button. Select the "Frame" type in the search field that opens during the previous step. Select the desired frame by double-clicking it.
- Open the photo editing tools to place the frame around the photo in the document by double-clicking on the photo. In the upper part you can see several frames to choose from. Click on the one you want to paste around the photo. Change the border color by clicking on "Image borders" and selecting the desired value.

Method number 2 - the fastest
You can add a frame using the Quick Access Toolbar.
- Open Word Options from the Office button and select Setup.
- Find the item "All commands" in the section "Select commands from the menu". Here you can select a frame, and after you click "OK", the document will be updated.
Method number 3 - how to insert a frame in the "Word 2007" in the format of the web page
- Select the "New" tab under the Office button to create a separate document. Click the "New border" button above the button on the shortcut bar. The page will be split horizontally. Grab the cursor-separator and move it upward to create a narrow upper border.
- Right-click at the top to edit the properties of the received file. Change the name and enter the border property settings on the special tab. Click OK. This method of how to insert a frame in Word 2007 is used most often for the development of the logo and menu of the site.
Method number 4 - the frame in the text
- Open Word and create a new document. Click the "Insert" button, then click one of the icons below the "Text Box" button on the toolbar. Drag the mouse in the document window to define this field.
- Right-click the text box and select the Format option, then navigate to the specified tab in the dialog box that appears immediately.
- Click the Convert to Frame button. "Word" will display a dialog box with a warning about loss of information. Click the "OK" button on this frame to perform the conversion. After that, the text will appear in a clearly delineated border. However, this function looks completely different than the beautiful frames in Word 2007, inserted in the form of a picture. However, this frame can also be edited in shape and color. By default, it is created in a rectangular shape, but you can customize it at your own discretion.
