How does the military commissariat work?

Any military commissariat today does not work as it did a few years ago. There were some serious changes. For example, from civil servants only civilians remained. The military commissariat now serves significantly fewer employees than before. On the other hand, now they are loaded much more. The military commissariat was recently located in every district of a federation subject. Now it is located in the center of the region or republic. And in the districts there are its departments. The number of the latter has decreased.

Each military commissariat, as before, has a number of functions. First, you need to register citizens. Then it is necessary to conduct their medical examination. Four tests are mandatory and common for all: fluorography, an electrocardiogram, urine and blood tests.

The Ministry of Defense has special contracts with polyclinics. They are paid money for conducting surveys. It is necessary to get acquainted with the medical cards of conscripts in order to find out everything about their illnesses, which they suffered "on a citizen". If this document contains information about any serious ailments, then the future defender of the Fatherland should be sent for an additional examination. It must be paid from the funds of insurance companies, money is not collected from the conscript itself. The decision to admit into the ranks of the Armed Forces is taken by the commission, which is based on the conclusions of physicians. The next stage of the work is psychological and professional selection. Also, military registration and enlistment offices are engaged in the search for "deviators" and deserters. They organize events to prepare for the service, form teams and send them to the gathering point.

Several important tasks are carried out through mobilization. This is the replenishment of the noncomplete military units after the dismissal of some of the employees into the reserve. In addition, the formation of new compounds is carried out in this way. The auxiliary military units will not be superfluous in the event of an armed conflict. They will be able to fight against saboteurs, bandit groups, rebels, the "fifth column". In addition, auxiliary military units can serve as a material for replenishing combat losses.
