"House of cards": actors and plot

The American series "House of Cards", whose actors are known for their roles in the big cinema, appeared in 2013. Since then, every new season of the franchise has enjoyed immense popularity among the audience.

Frank Underwood

This Florentine diplomat of the Renaissance is known for his treatise "The Emperor", in which he described exactly such a psychotype of the politician's behavior. "The end justifies the means" - this is the main motto of an ambitious senator hailing from South Carolina. It is he who makes such an interesting and exciting "House of Cards". Actors who play other characters, however, also deserve attention.

Claire Underwood

Robin Wright played Frank's wife, Claire Underwood. The wife is very similar to her husband. She is purposeful and also not burdened with moral principles, if it is a question of realizing far-reaching plans. At the beginning of the series, Claire is president of a charity fund in Washington. When Frank began to occupy leading positions in the state, his wife also found herself in global politics.

In the third season, Claire became US ambassador to the United Nations. She owns a lot of actions, coolly changed the plot of the series "House of cards." Actors and characters in the second plan, too, in some cases are cynics and pragmatists, but they are far from the Underwood couple.

Zoe Barnes

Young movie star Kate Mara played a journalist Zoe Barnes. She appears in the first two seasons of the series "House of cards." Actors and supporting roles in this franchise, as a rule, do not stay long on the screen.
