The tension disappears, you want to laugh, the appetite is awakening - all this is the result of the action of serotonin. Many skiers and snowboarders are familiar with the euphoria that arises during a quick descent, when the muscles of the body are actively working, controlling the instrument, the wind whistles in the ears, and the landscapes are changing rapidly. At this moment, due to physical exertion, cold wind, blowing face and bright mountain sun, the hormone of joy endorphin is synthesized in the body.

Any journey is a positive emotion with which serotonin synthesis is inextricably linked, and new impressions that stimulate the release of endorphins. Activities can be very diverse - rafting, surfing, mountain biking, speleology, rock climbing - you can enumerate endlessly. And what are the most beautiful sports like bass jumping or deep water solo - climbing the rocks over the sea without insurance. It produces not only a hormone of joy - it's a firework of sensations that help for a long time to forget about depression and to taste the taste of life. Of course, you can talk about the dangers of such hobbies for a long time, but, perhaps, it is not much worse than lack of emotions, unwillingness to live and other depressive states. In addition, if you comply with safety and reasonable approach to organizing outdoor activities, the risk can be minimized.

To make the effect more tangible, you can take care of food during the trip. In large quantities, the hormone of joy is concentrated in chocolate, figs, bananas and dates. Including these products in the menu, one can not doubt that the balance of serotonin and endorphin in the body will be restored.
