When peptic ulcer patients are prescribed 20 mg of medication per day. Treatment with the drug reaches 8 weeks. In the case of an acute form of the disease course, the dose increases exactly 2 times. It is worth noting that with the Zollinger-Addison syndrome, Omez tablets are prescribed 60 mg per day. For patients with liver and kidney problems, the dosage of the drug is adjusted individually depending on the patient's condition. If you want to prevent the occurrence of relapses once a day, take only 10 mg per day.

In case of an overdose, symptoms of the following character always occur:

  1. drowsiness;
  2. tachycardia;
  3. Vision becomes indistinct;
  4. Arrhythmia occurs;
  5. Consciousness becomes confused.

In this case, the treatment is prescribed, according to the symptoms.
