Despite the many advantages, including hydro and noise insulation, resistance to mechanical damage, convenience and unpretentiousness in the care, glass showers have one minor disadvantage - it's expensive. Because manufacturers offer an alternative in the form of acrylic. Acrylic doors are largely inferior to the glass competitor in quality and service life. The original attractive appearance is quickly replaced by a tarnished surface, prone to scratches. In addition, the acrylic product is more demanding in the care. But that's what surpasses the acrylic of his glass fellow, so it's in a variety of colors and design.
