Christoph Kramer was born on February 19, 1991 in Germany and at the age of four he was at the Grefart football academy. For four years he was engaged in football there until he was noticed by scouts from the youth of one of the strongest clubs in Germany - "Bayer". There he spent seven whole years until he was sent to another sports school at the less famous club - Dusseldorf's Fortune. Two years later he returned to Leckercuzen and in 2009 signed a professional contract with the club. However, no one saw the great talent in the player, so Christophe Kramer did not even get a chance in the main team: he was enrolled in a double, where he did not immediately win a place in the base. Only in the second season he started performing quite often, having played in 26 games.

Rent in Bochum

In 2011, the leadership of the "Bayer" decided that the 20-year-old Christophe Kramer - a football player who needs to reveal himself. As a result, he went for a two-year lease to Bochum, where he performed quite successfully. For two seasons he appeared on the field 67 times, scoring four goals. When Kramer returned to Leverkusen, the bosses were still not satisfied, so they sent the midfielder for another two years to rent: this time to a higher level club, Menchengladbach "Borussia".

Rent in Borussia

It was here that Kramer opened up completely: for two years he played in 73 games, scoring five goals. He impressed absolutely everyone, including the coach of the German national team Joachim Leva. "Borussia" wanted to redeem the player immediately after the end of the lease, but "Bayer" decided that Christophe needed him.

Return to Bayer, and then to Borussia

The following season, Kramer spent at Bayern, playing in 42 games, but he did not make the impression that was last season. Therefore, the leadership of the "Bayer" decided that it is better to release Christophe to Borussia, where he was still waiting. Mönchengladbach club paid fifteen million euros for the defender, and in the current season Kramer played 11 games for Borussia, giving two assists.

National team appearances

Kramer was first called to the German national team in July 2014 after a successful season in Borussia. He made his debut in a friendly match against Poland. Since that moment he played in eleven matches, three of which were at the 2014 World Cup. The last time Cramer was called to the team in March 2016, then he played just a couple of minutes in a friendly match against the Italian team.
