George Dronov - biography and the path to the cinema

Born actor in Moscow in an ordinary family, not connected with the world of art. There was this joyful event on April 7, 1971. In the family of George Dronov always called Egor, and this name has since been applied by the closest people. All the rest of the actor asks to call himself George.

He was the most ordinary child. He did not violently abuse, he listened to his parents. Egor's father, connected with the exact sciences, very much wanted his son to enter MSTU after Bauman. But since there were no pronounced inclinations to any subject, his parents offered him to enter the Institute of Culture on the specialty "Directing theatrical performances". There was the smallest contest, which gave a chance for success. Most importantly, studying at the institute provided exemption from the army. As a student, Yegor got acquainted with the owner of the amateur theater and realized that he wanted to participate in the productions.

For the first time he appeared on stage at the age of 19 in the play "Notes of a Madman". I was terribly afraid, I was ready to escape. But this day ended with the victory of George Dronov. He coped with his role so well that even his parents did not recognize him in makeup.

After graduating from the Institute of Culture, he entered the Shchepkin School, wishing to be educated as a professional theater actor. Since 1998 he worked in three theaters. Now he is an actor of the "Independent Theater Project".

First roles in the cinema

Immediately after graduation, George Dronov began to try himself at the cinema. At first these were episodic roles, but in the most box-office films of those times. His first role was the image of a newsman in the film "At Deribasovskaya good weather, or on Brighton Beach again rains." Then there were roles in such popular films as "Burnt by the Sun" and "Moscow Vacations". But the most important success was participation in the sensational "The Barber of Siberia", where he played Junker Nazarov in the company with Oleg Menshikov and Marat Basharov.

After participating in such a large-scale project, Yegor waited six months for invitations to new roles, but then he realized that one should not dream but work. And he agreed to shoot in the new series "Sasha + Masha". He brought the actor a long-awaited success.

The series "Voronin"

The successful project STS - the TV series "Voronin" - in February 2014 was an anniversary - 5 years. Within the limits of the television project it is a lot of. The American version of this family sitcom had only 10 seasons, but our Russian audience liked it so much that now it's already the 13th season. Unfortunately, it will still be the last. In dreams - to see the Grand Canyon, to visit Peru and the Amazon. Dronov loves to live, to feel every moment, therefore he strongly disapproves of virtual communication. With friends, he prefers to see in the real world, most appreciates the friendly gatherings in the kitchen.

Despite the fact that George Dronov is a successful and sought after actor in the cinema, he does not plan to leave the theater.
