General Zod - the outstanding son of Krypton

At Kal-El, as the main fighter for good, there are many enemies, among them Lex Luthor and General Zod.

General Zod

This character, according to the story, was also a resident of Krypton. Zod combined the outstanding talent of the strategist, severity, justice, quick temper and dictatorial features. Among his achievements is the victory over the X Virus, which once struck the planet Krypton.

General Zod was closely acquainted with Superman's father, Jor-Elom, who, as a scientist, tried to prove that the planet was threatened with rapid destruction. Jor-Elu managed to convince Zod, and he, surrounded by faithful soldiers, tried to overthrow the ruling Council by rebellion, but was defeated and brought to trial. Jor-El persuaded not to execute the rebels, but to send them to the Phantom Zone. An angry and harboring deep resentment, the general became an ardent adversary and enemy of the genus El. Subsequently, Clark Kent and Zod will be at enmity, but the antagonist will be defeated. Comics detail the intricate plans of the enemy, in which his allies are always present, fighting selflessly and bravely, without a shadow of a doubt, as well as scenes of a clash with Superman. After the destruction of the New Krypton, governed by General Zod, the Man of Steel, following the example of his father, sends a desperate warrior to the Phantom Prison.

Like any Kryptonian, General Zod has a certain set of abilities and forces. Of course, he is inferior to Kal-El, but he is also endowed with super strength. There is also resistance, at times exceeding human. Firearms, energy rays, powerful explosions and various strikes do not cause any damage to Zod. The threat can only be represented by extremely powerful heroes, like Superman. Another advantage of the general is the flight at very high speeds. In the rays of the yellow Sun, the state of the character's body is in an ideal state and gives Zoda super-speed, super-hearing and super-vision.

Actors and roles

At different times in the Kryptonian warrior reincarnated very dissimilar actors. In the films "Superman", as well as "Superman 2" the role went to Terence Stamp. The developers were able to introduce the comic character in the field of constant game fights, but the whole history and biography of Zod was preserved. The character uses different guns, is the ruler of the Phantom Zone, he is subordinated to all of its inhabitants, and also the Kryptonian is able to point-shoot lasers from the eyes. Although he can not fly, he can summon a creature from the Zone to distract the enemy.

Zod's character was used in a series of Danish Lego designer, as well as in the song title of a Canadian band performing punk rock.
