General Petrov and his all-embracing theory of the God-holding

In modern history there were many personalities who thought that they had finally found the root of all the evils that torment unhappy humanity. After such an opening, the smallest thing remains - to eliminate the annoying hindrance on the way to universal happiness. Unfortunately, most often, the simpler the solution seems to be, the more complex the task is in reality.

Major General Konstantin Petrov thought about the imperfection of the world long ago, when he served in the military space forces of the USSR. He graduated from the Academy of Missile Forces named after Dzerzhinsky, he defended his thesis, held a high post at Baikonur, then taught at the St. Petersburg Military Space Academy, acting as deputy head of the educational institution. He, of course, became one of the most authoritative leaders of the socio-political movement, which received the memorable name "Dead Water".

The description of the conceptual basis of the party, since 2000 called "Unity", would occupy more than one page of a concise text, which indicates the vagueness of the program, despite the abundance of its graphic and even mathematical reinforcements. General Petrov expounded the theoretical positions of the organization in a simpler and more understandable language, demonstrating considerable erudition and outstanding intellect.

Participating in the collections of neo-pagans, he called for unity around the original values, that is, in fact, to return worship to the forces of nature. Of course, in the orderly ranks of the defenders of all "poetic" and "homespun" places there are no Christians, so General Petrov "became accustomed", after which he changed his name and became Miragor.

The movements in which this strange person took part changed names, but he occupied invariably leading posts in them. Even the term "worship", which symbolized the support of the new political party by the higher powers, was coined. In 1995, General Petrov was fired from the Armed Forces, then there was a split within the interregional organization that broke up into "Dead Water" and everything else.

Actively pursue its policy of the social movement has tried repeatedly. General Petrov nominated his candidacy for the post of Novosibirsk governor and mayor, and for a beginner, the politician showed good results, taking middle places in the popularity ratings.

The 2003 elections to the State Duma demonstrated a cautious attitude of the electorate to a movement offering such radical social and ideological transformations: a five per cent barrier was not overcome.

Financial support for "Dead Water" was provided by V. Efimov, the former ideological secretary of the Leningrad City Committee, who became a "pasta king" under the new conditions. Apparently, the desire for the only correct and comprehensive doctrine remained with him from times past.

Since 2005, Konstantin Pavlovich, aka Miragor, is joining the MTR (Union of Slavic Communities). For legal reasons, the association changes its name to the RPM of the CPE ("The Course of Truth and Union"), and he becomes its chairman, not forgetting about literary activity. The two-volume "Secrets of Managing Mankind" was published in 2008.

Major-General Petrov Konstantin Pavlovich died in 2009, he was 64 years old. Despite all the oddities, according to the memories of those who knew him well, it was an amazing person who sincerely believes in his idea.
