French style in the interior

Despite the fact that today you can easily go to rest (and even live) almost anywhere in the world, the word "France" still causes inexplicable awe in many compatriots, especially among compatriots. Apparently, this traction was passed on from great-grandmothers, during which time Paris was almost the center of the universe. After all, all the latest trends of fashion proceeded from there. The French language was studied everywhere. The richest secular families could afford to hire French governess governesses for children and, of course, the interior in the French style was almost the limit of luxury.

In Soviet times, everything suddenly became equal, and for a long time forgotten about the Parisian splendor. However, fashion has the property of returning, and today came the very days when it again became fashionable (and can) be rich and furnish your home the way a soul with finance would like. And the French style in the interior is one of the most beloved, because it combines elegance, romanticism, comfort, beauty and unobtrusive luxury. The color scheme of this design is based exclusively on warm, delicate, slightly blurred and muted pastel tones, but the most important colors are still white and gold. Their combination gives the dwelling an officially-festive look, and at the same time acts peacefully on the people in the room.

In order to support the French style in the interior, furniture should be purchased quite expensive. In any case, it should look like that. And really expensive looks only furniture made of natural materials. Basically, it should be made of wood and is studded with noble expensive fabrics, such as velvet, brocade, silk, etc. In the bedroom it will be appropriate to look like a wrought-iron bed with a soft mattress and plenty of cozy pillows. To emphasize the French style in the interior can be with the help of several primordially Parisian pieces of furniture, such as a deep low chair "stout" with lush upholstery, or a cupboard cabinet "dressour". Very adorn the "French" apartment and give her an extra charm of elegant trinkets and statuettes. The main thing is not to go too far with them.

As for the walls, the best option is to paint them in light, pastel colors. If you are a wallpaper adherent, then you should choose their woven version with a vegetative discreet drawing. Also the French style in the interior can emphasize the walls, glued directly to the fabric (this was done in the 17th century for lack of wallpaper). The floors are best made of natural stone, but since you do not have a medieval castle, but an ordinary house or apartment, it will be enough to do with tile or laminate of wood. To make it even more comfortable, you can lay down on the floor a small single-colored light mat made of wool.

To further integrate into the French style of life, you can hang mirrors on the walls, framed in heavy wrought-iron frames, on horizontal surfaces here and there arrange forged candlesticks and photographs in wooden frames. The windows will look good light airy tulle. And, of course, the room should always be light, so take care of the good illumination. Enough is an elegant chandelier, the design of which will be harmoniously combined with the overall interior.
