Firmware for PSP 3008: tips, warnings, tips

The PSP 3008 gaming platform is one of the latest generation of interactive gadgets. It differs not only better performance, but also an increased level of protection. The most current firmware PSP 3008 - 6.60. It provides the most stable operation of the device and the launch of most programs. So how do you install the update for the platform?

1. Download the legal system version 6.60 from the official site.
2. Allocate all files to the device's memory card in the directory /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP. If necessary, create it.
3. Download the device and run the PSP update from the "Games" menu.
4. Wait until the process is complete.

So you will update the firmware of your PSP to the official version 6.60. If you want to run pirated games, you will also need an additional modification. To install it, do the following:

1. Download the files of the modified firmware.
2. Put them in the root of the memory card of your "memory card".
3. Enable LME Installer 6.60 using the "Games" menu.

That's all. At the end of the process, you can remove the installer. Now to run a virtual environment (pirated firmware) you can include LME Launcher 6.60 in games. After that, you can safely run pirated applications.

If you do not want to tremble every time about the battery charge and worry that the firmware flies, you can try to "fix" the virtual firmware. How to do it? This operation requires firmware PSP 3008 6.61, as well as some additional programs.

1. Install the virtual firmware as described in the paragraph above.
2. Download and throw the root of the memory card utility 6.61 Infinity Firmware Builder.
3. We run it from the "Games". Choose "Build Hybrid Firmware".
4. Using the PC, we drop the DATA.MFC file from the / PSP / GAME / MAKER / folder to the / PSP / GAME / FLASHER / directory.
5. Download and run 6.61 Infinity Firmware Flasher.
6. Restart the console.
7. If you turn on the blue screen when you turn it on, agree to the recovery.
8. Remove the "builder" and "flasher".
9. Check the firmware version in the settings. At the end of the inscription there must be a sign of infinity.
10. Now you can install the pirated system version 6.61. This is done in exactly the same way as before.
11. Download and run Infinity Bootloader Configuration. Push left and cross-select our firmware - PRO CFW.

Now your virtual firmware PSP 3008 is fixed, and you do not have to constantly turn it on. Problems with the search for additional software should not arise, since utilities of the infinity series usually go in one archive.
