Expected increase in pensions in 2013

Each new year brings pensioners hope at least for a small, but, nevertheless, increase in pensions. The state is trying to justify expectations little by little and every year increases the size of various social payments and compensations. 2013 was no exception.

The Pension Fund of Russia for 2013 planned a general increase in the pension in a twofold amount, the average pension payments will be carried out at a rate of 12 thousand rubles. Now we need to understand how the payments will be changed during the current year.

The Government of the Russian Federation provides for an increase in pension payments in three stages: from the beginning of February - the first, from the beginning of April - the second, from the beginning of October - the expected third increase.

For the first time this year, as planned by government officials, pension payments increased in February. The pension was indexed by 6.6%. With regard to cash, the average labor pension increased by almost 640 rubles, pension disability payments increased by an average of 400 rubles, pension payments in case of loss of a single breadwinner in the family also increased somewhat, by about 390 rubles.

Since the beginning of April, there has also been an indexation of the pension by 3.3%. Again, pension payments have increased: the labor pension - by about 340 rubles, for disability - a little more than 200 rubles, with the loss of the breadwinner - also more than 200 rubles.

The increase in pensions also affected those citizens who receive a pension on the funded system, and their contributions were transferred to non-state pension funds. To receive the increase, you just need to write a special application to the Pension Fund, you can receive pension allowances from July 1, 2013.

Military pensions

The military is also concerned about the question of when there will be an increase in pensions. As early as 2011-12, the government envisaged an increase in payments for this category of the population. Despite the introduction of a not very pleasant coefficient of 0.54 units to calculate the size of payments, the officials, nevertheless, somewhat changed the rules for calculating pensions for the military and began to take into account the level of inflation. By the way, this is the first change in the rules for calculating pensions by the military since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

But, nevertheless, the order of calculation of pension payments to the military will remain unchanged. As before, such pensions will be in the amount of 50% of seniority, and the supplement for each year of service is 3%. It is interesting that the total amount of payments should not exceed the line indicated by the state at a rate of 85%.

Increase in military pensions can be calculated depending on the growth of inflation - it should be stable 2% higher than the figure of the forecasted level of inflation in the country for the current year. According to the calculations of officials, on average, the increase in military pensions should be 20%, the average payment will be 22 thousand rubles.

Pensions for disability

For people with disabilities, regardless of the category, the pension will also increase somewhat (2013). The increase will occur in parallel with the increase in the usual labor pension. According to the calculations of officials, the average social pension payments of this category of population for the current year will be about 7200 rubles.
