Evelina Zakamskaya was born on November 17, 1975 in sunny Baku. Her childhood was happy and serene. Arriving in Russia, the family received refugee ID number 1, after which thousands of other immigrants came after them.

At school, Evelina Zakamskaya studied well, especially shining on humanitarian disciplines, this predetermined the choice of the place of study. She enters the Faculty of Philology of Tver State University.

The beginning of the way

Even in her student years, Evelina Zakamskaya, whose biography developed quite successfully, came to the local television, where she made a series of programs about the Finnish and Karelian diaspora. So she paid tribute to her mother's roots and found herself in the profession. When she studied, she could not imagine that she would work on the federal channel. She thought she would work in a local newspaper or television office, but she saw nothing wrong with that. At the end of the university Zakamskaya worked in local media, but the desire to expand the scale forced her to move to Moscow in 2002. Surprisingly, before allowing her to air, the editor strongly advised the newly-made journalist to change her real name and surname to "something simpler." So Evelina for four years became Evgenia Maximova.
