Engine flushing. The importance of washing for engine operation

Any car enthusiast has to face such problems as carbon deposits and varnishes, which are very often formed in engines and are such undesired internal combustion products. Over time, these uncleaned engines become "quiet killers." The only way to curb the progression of such overlaps is the timely flushing of the engine with special solvents that, in addition, allow the engine oil to show all its strongest aspects, and also protect the engine when it reaches peak loads. Washing the engine is a prerequisite for the engine not to stall at the most inopportune moment.

Constantly appearing tougher restrictions on automobile emissions force manufacturers to develop more and more perfect and environmentally friendly engines. Of course, this has a number of drawbacks, the main one being that the combustion products continue to circulate inside the engine, rather than being emitted into the atmosphere, as before.

Oils, no matter whether they are synthetic or semi-synthetic, face a very difficult task of maintaining and neutralizing all these contaminants until a service change of oil is made. Another problem is the urban conditions that are dictated by the present. Due to the short distances at which the engine simply does not have time to warm up, constant work at idle, an abundance of suspended dust, as well as oxidation of engine oil, the formation of viscous, dense deposits inside the engine is provoked. Washing the engine when replacing the oil in these situations is very important and allows you to save a large number of nerves and time in the future.

Deposits are formed throughout the engine, which causes the oil flows and the oil pump intake to be clogged . This becomes an obstacle to the circulation of oil through the vital parts of the engine. Despite the fact that the best oil filters are able to remove particles of contaminants, they are not enough. The filter is capable of removing a particle up to 25 microns in size, while the most harmful particles do not exceed 5-20 microns. Despite their small size, the engine can not tolerate them for too long. To remove these particles, engine flushing with a solvent is suitable.

If we talk about diesel engines, in them, among other deposits, sulfur accumulates and enters the combustion chamber, so that acids form inside the engine. In the event that they are not removed by the solvent, during the course of their circulation, deposits and varnishes are inevitably formed, which will slowly but surely kill the engine, providing about sixty percent of the total wear. It should be noted and the fact that after a complete replacement of the oil in the engine , about 10-20% of the old oil continues to circulate, which potentially worsens the properties of the new oil. Regular flushing of the engine will ensure not only performance, but also will achieve from the engine oil a greater efficiency factor.

If we sum up all the facts, we can safely say that it is possible to prolong the life of our engine, to ensure the free circulation of oil, and to achieve full return from it, only if the power units are washed and oil and oil filters are replaced in a timely manner. Particular attention should be paid to those cars, the mileage of which is more than 75,000 kilometers. Washing the engine is an obligatory procedure, due to which the life of the engine can be extended for a very long time. It is worth noting that it is better to resort to long-term washing, and not to save time on "pyatiminutkah."
