The girl's parents, Winston and Hazel Frost, were very strict in raising children, whom they had four. Despite the fact that it was difficult to follow everyone, the stern father still found an excuse to make his demands. Little Emma was completely inconspicuous, but her classmates found many reasons to play tricks on her. Her study was given with difficulty, for which she repeatedly received reprimands. The only support in this difficult time was the school teacher Jan Kendall, with whom in the future the young telepath tied up the novel. It was during these years that she noticed that she was different from the others. In her head began to be heard annoying, unfamiliar voices that belonged to others. At first it frightened the girl, but later she learned to use this gift for her own good.

Youth

There are 2 versions of how Emma Frost ("Marvel") grew up and developed later. Biography of a young girl in one of the cases continues in a specialized institution for the mentally ill, where she was sent by her parents after learning about the unusual abilities of her daughter and desperate to drive her to receptions for psychiatrists and other doctors. There she acquired a loyal company, and as a result she managed to escape with the help of the power of thought. In the updated version, the mutant girl begins to actively use her telepathy in school, so her assessments are rapidly improving. Thus, she manages to earn the respect of her father, who is happy to trust her with the family business. However, Emma Frost builds her own plans for the future and decides to achieve everything herself.

Hell fire

From the family budget, it takes a fairly modest amount, which is necessary for new beginnings. Gradually the girl begins to realize the full value of her gift and lights up her thoughts about achieving great goals. When Emma Frost (Marvel) still studied at the university, she met another telepathic possessor who teaches her how to master her talent skillfully. Around the same time, she becomes a blonde, and looks from now on is one of her main advantages and means of manipulation. The career of the girl goes up the hill, thanks to which she is noticed by Sebastian Shaw, who is one of the members of the Hellfire Club, and in combination a mutant. Thus, she enters this questionable club. After learning about the insidious plans of the leaders of the organization, as a result of which many mutants may die, Emma Frost (Marvel) and Shaw seize power, and together they become the White Queen and the Black King.

X-Men

At the same time, the superheroine has his own students at the Massachusetts Academy, where gifted, that is, mutants, along with ordinary adolescents. They began to be called Hellions, and their leader and mentor was exactly the young Emma Frost ("Marvel"). X-Men met her for the first time when they went in search of the kidnapped Jean Gray. At that time, they won, resulting in a short-term coma Emma. The warring factions after that collided a few more times, but the most massive was the battle with Trevor Fitzroy, where everyone took part. By that time, the girl left the Hellfire Club, but this did not save her from a prolonged coma. Moving her consciousness into the body of Bobby Drake, she learns that most Hellions perished during the battle. This was a heavy blow, as a result of which she repented and decided to correct the mistakes of the past. She successfully restores her reputation and the honor of the dead students, opposing Phalanx along with Banshee, Sabretooth and Jubilee. Her gift is almost as powerful as that of Charles Xavier himself, which makes her one of the few mutants Cerebro can use. She can easily read thoughts, communicate with other people telepathically, and also erase any events from someone else's memory. On this list of her talents does not end, because to influence the inner world of a person can be a huge number of ways. In addition, she has higher education and natural talents, which also contribute to the achievement of complex goals.

Diamond Body

Telepathy is not the only mutation affected by Emma Frost. "Marvel" ability to their heroes gives a variety. And for gifted people, they do not always manifest themselves in childhood. Already in adulthood, the White Queen, it is under this name that the heroine is known in the world, she received another gift. Due to a secondary mutation, Emma can transform her body into a solid diamond substance. It practically can not be injured, and the body weight is several times greater than the present one. Even if some part of this shell is damaged, leaving this state and returning back, it will again become whole. However, this ability has its drawbacks. First, Emma Frost is deprived of feelings and emotions, which means that she can accidentally harm someone. Secondly, it also fails to use the power of its primary mutation. In part, this is a plus, since the girl's consciousness just does not succumb to someone else's telepathic effects.

Relations with other characters

The first time, after switching to the side of good, other mutants treated the girl suspiciously and wary. However, later, having proved her loyalty more than once, she even managed to become the leader of the Xavier Institute. Almost immediately, she started a friendship with Scott Summers, who at that time was in a relationship with Jean Gray. After the death of Phoenix, a new pair is immediately formed - Cyclops and Emma Frost (Marvel), that most mutants, especially Wolverine, do not approve. However, later discontent is weakened when Emma heads the Institute and successfully copes with her duties.

To the cinema

The fictional character of Emma Frost, in addition to comics, also appeared in the films about the X-Men. For the first time she lit up on the screen in a solo picture about Logan "People-X. Start. Wolverine". True, her role there was absolutely insignificant. At the very end of the picture, the heroes release captive mutants, among which you can see a young girl with a diamond body. But in the 2011 film "X-Men: First Class", Emma Frost appeared as one of the central characters. There she became the right-hand man of the main villain of the painting, Sebastian Shaw. She skillfully manipulates other characters and uses her beautiful body and telepathy for mercenary purposes. She was very successfully embodied on the screen actress Jenuary Jones. New appearances in the cinema are not planned yet, but, perhaps in the future, viewers will more than once see in theaters an excellent White Queen.
