Drama Theater of Novokuznetsk: history, repertoire, photo

The Drama Theater of Novokuznetsk has existed for more than 80 years. His repertoire is varied. It includes performances for adults and children. The theater has great artists.

History

The Drama Theater (Novokuznetsk), whose photo is presented in this article, was founded in the 1930s. It was a difficult pre-war time. The official date for the opening of the theater was November 6, 1933. A building was specially built for him. The repertoire of that time consisted of immortal works. In the years of the Great Patriotic War, the Novokuznetsk drama theater hosted troupes from other cities of Russia, as well as from Ukraine.

In 1963 a new building was built for the theater. It was decorated with bas-reliefs, colonnade, paintings, panels. The hall is designed for 600 seats. In this building the Novokuznetsk drama theater is located to this day.

The twenty-first century began for the theater with a change in leadership. The main director was S. Boldyrev. Thanks to him, the theater began to search for new and experiments. Classical performances were staged in a new reading. "Hamlet" in the production of the Novokuznetsk Drama Theater and did become a scandalous project.

From 2006 to 2010 the building was closed for reconstruction. There was his second birth. Today the theater is equipped with the most modern technology. In the repertoire appeared more interesting productions. Tours resumed. The theater takes an active part in festivals and receives awards. The repertoire has become more diverse and interesting. Rules for attending the theater

The Novokuznetsk Drama Theater offers its spectator the following rules that must be observed when attending performances:

• Every spectator must have a ticket with him, except children under three.
• When purchasing a ticket for a child, it is necessary to pay attention to age restrictions, which are indicated on the playbill for each performance.
• It is forbidden to enter the auditorium with drinks, food and with volumetric bags.
• Purchased tickets can be returned to the theater or exchanged only if the performance is canceled or transferred to another day.
• In the cloakroom at the service of spectators are offered binoculars, which can be rented.
• It is strictly prohibited to produce video and photography during the performance.
• After the third bell rang, it is forbidden to enter the amphitheater and the stalls.
• Late spectators are placed on free chairs on balconies, and only during the intermission can change seats, so as not to interfere with other viewers.
• Mobile phones must be switched off during the performance.
• It is forbidden to smoke in the theater, as well as in the territory adjoining it.
• If an exchange or refund is made, then this procedure must be completed before the day at which the theater was to be held.
