Do you know how many days are in a leap year?

In the modern world there are various, all kinds of calendars. Their number is simply unlimited, and it's almost impossible to know all of them. Some of them take as a basis for the calculation of time the interaction of the Sun with the Earth, and some - Earth with the Moon. And, according to the results of miscalculations of various systems of calculus, the number of days in a year can differ significantly. Despite what the calendar relies on, none of them can be 100% accurate and give an exact answer to the questions: "How many days in a year?" And "How many days in a leap year?"

The year refers to the conventional time units. It is known that a year can be equated to one complete revolution of the Earth around the entire Sun. So how many days in a leap year?

In the existing Gregorian and Julian calendars , the year totals 365 days. However, its real duration is 365 days and 6 hours. To align this displacement, based on the calculations of Alexandrian astronomers, the concept of a leap year was introduced. For the first time a leap year was introduced under the reign of Emperor Gaius Julius Caesar. Then, by mistake, one additional day was added every three years, and only after a few decades a fourth year was considered to be a leap year, as planned. How many days in a leap year? As a result of this introduction, the leap year began to total 366 days. And it was decided to add this day in the last month of the Roman calendar - February.

This innovation was also accepted by the Gregorian calendar, but with one small amendment. A leap year was a year, a multiple of 100 and 400. This extra day was introduced, as in the Julian calendar, in February.

In the Jewish calendar system, there is also the concept of a leap year. But, unlike the other calendar systems, here it is a question of adding more than one additional day, and adding an additional month. This is due to the fact that the Jewish system relies not on the solar months, but on the lunar months. As a result of such differences, the year differs from the solar standard year by the number of days equal to 11. To correct this difference, it was decided to introduce an additional, thirteenth, month. As a result, it turns out that the 19-year cycle for this calendar totals 12 ordinary and 7 leap years.

And how many working days a year? This question was probably asked by everyone. Determining the specific number of days off and working days per year is not always easy. Their number depends on the number of officially announced holidays, as well as weekends and holidays, which were postponed for weekdays because they fell on the weekend.

To calculate the approximate number of working days, it follows from the total number of days to deduct the days off and the holidays carried over from the weekend.

If you do not want to make calculations - take away, add and do other manipulations with numbers, we will help you and answer your question. After completing the calculations, we get an average of about 250-270 working days and about 90-120 days off per year. Thus we give an answer to a common question about how many days in a leap year or in the usual we have to work.
