Depth pumps for individual water supply

It is economically more feasible to organize water supply from wells, than to arrange a water supply in another way. And surface pumps can only be used with a sufficiently high water level. Therefore, deep pumps, despite their relatively high cost, are very popular. All of them are multistage, which helps them to raise water from a fairly large depth (sometimes up to 300 m). Thanks to this, they got their name. In addition, deep well pumps have a high head. But they can not be too deep into the water. The maximum permissible immersion depth for them is 20 m. If the pump is lowered deeper, the insulation can not withstand. Also, such pumps are easy to install, they are compact and quiet. Among the shortcomings can be called a high degree of complexity of maintenance.

The same principle applies to the use of deep-well pumps in wells and open reservoirs. Most of them can be installed in a horizontal position, but you need to make sure that the documentation indicates this possibility.

Recently, a widespread problem has been the presence in the water of abrasive inclusions, because of which deep pumps can quickly fail. Even if the well is equipped with a high-quality filter, a part of the sand still gets into the water, and because of this, the impellers wear out more quickly. Therefore, modern models of pumps have a wear-resistant coating on the wheels and a floating suspension.
